The Scholarship Fund

It all started when…

people who work with animals, from veterinarians to shelter volunteers, wanted to take my classes in animal communication and shamanic healing for animals so they could better serve the shelters and rescues they were working with. These students improve the animals’ chances of adoption and help people to better understand their animal's needs. A number of students over the years have come to me from areas of low income, where the animals are not well cared for. They want to provide the best service possible, but can’t afford the training.

The training I provide -- 4 levels of animal communication, including Interspecies counseling, and a year-long program in shamanic studies, including an animal healing focus -- prepares students of all ages, from all cultures and backgrounds, to assist animals to recover from their illness/trauma, and to support a compassionate understanding between humans and animals. We work with shelter animals in class, who need healing from trauma, injury or abuse, and the students offer service during training so they can practice the techniques I’m teaching them. Students learn to heal themselves, others and this world. They achieve a close relationship with the natural world and can help others to that end.

Your donations will establish the base for a scholarship fund for students, so that their dreams of working with animals can be realized. Once the scholarship base is established, 5% of each fully paid tuition, as well as donations from students and clients, will go to grow the scholarship fund. Students will use the fund to pay a part of their tuition, making it affordable for their financial circumstances.
